Fine Welded Wire Mesh with spacings in the range of 10 mm to 25 mm square with wire - diameters of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm is extensively used for Filtration Screens, Chemical Process Filters, Backing Mesh for Demister Pads and as reinforcement in Safety Glass. Wires are generally of Stainless Steel or Hot Dipped Galvanised.
